Process Safety Audit

Process safety audit provides a disciplined review of whether the required process safety framework is complete on paper and properly carried through in actual operations.

The performance baseline is based on industry standards and is designed to satisfy the regulatory requirements. PSM audits are conducted to determine the degree to which plans and programs have been implemented. There are two major objectives of these audits. The first is to assess whether the PSM adequately addresses all elements of the adopted PSM regulation. The second objective is to assess whether the management system has been adequately implemented for every process subject to the regulation.
